we inhabit a very large playground

coffee
trees
cars
benches
shoes
movies
credit cards
flowers
books
paintbrushes
kitchens
scarves
restaurants
trumpets
rocks
cushions
hats
fruit salads
candles
spotlights
clouds
ants
languages
drums
bubbles
photos
diamonds
guitars
balloons
origami
chocolates
tea leaves
microphones
mountains.

that's a non-exhaustive list of things God has placed in this world to be used for the good of his kingdom. let them therefore do their purpose, and put them to use for His glory.

  1. that was it! i liked it in that concise form.

but if you will, some instances:

cafes are places where you can meet with people to minister with them and forge connections.

mountains are sights to behold, that speak of the phenomenal glory of the Lord.

i imagine God has such a purpose for all things that surround us in our world.

  2. I would suggest that God's reason for a lot of them is for us to enjoy them, and in doing so glorify Him...
